Office Managers

Sydney St. John

Lead Office Manager

Sydney joined the Foothills team in 2018. She first started off as a sales rep and is now the head office manager and runs the specialty department. She calls Colorado home and graduated from CU Boulder with a degree in English Literature. Her main passions in life include travel, the outdoors, good food, and good wine. When she is not working, Sydney loves to spend her free time with friends, family, her husband Jack, their toddler Kellen, and their two dogs Indi and Homer.

Abbey Smith

Office Manager

Abbey was born and raised in Nebraska. Abbey formerly worked for the UFC in Las Vegas. She moved to Colorado five years ago and joined Foothills in 2022 as an Office Manager. Outside of work, Abbey now shoots competitive archery. Her disciplined, focused energy keeps us all organized!

Tara Hennig

Office Manager

Tara joined the team in 2021. She is from CO and is a Colorado State University graduate. She loves getting to chat with clients, learn about their projects and start off their experience with Foothills. Some of her favorite things to do are travel, hike, and ski with her friends, family and partner Ben.

Bobby Wilson

Lead Color Specialist

Bobby was born in Hawaii, grew up in Connecticut, and now calls Colorado home. He got his degree in fine arts, and he truly has an eye for colors and making your home beautiful. He has been with Foothills nine years and loves what he does. He loves his dog Desmond who goes everywhere with him. Bobby is a big advocate for personal growth and development. When he’s not doing color consultations and working with customers, you can find him reading Sci-Fi/Fantasy book series or doing something outdoors enjoying beautiful Colorado!

Rachael Martineau

Color Specialist & Events Coordinator

Rachael Joy has called Colorado home for nine years since leaving Michigan. She’s a pastry arts graduate from The French Pastry School of Chicago and completed two years of study at New Creation Church School of Bible and Ministry. Rachael is a color specialist, content creator, and event planner who loves spending time with her dog, Ruby, and playing card games with family. She also volunteers with youth at church.

Adam Dietz

Lead Project Estimator

Adam was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. He is a huge Denver Broncos fan and loves to cook out and entertain for football season. When he is not working he loves spending time with his wife Aida and his dog Baxter. Adam loves to go golfing as well as going out to many of the local Colorado breweries to try something new.

Alex Barstow

Lead Project Estimator

Alex was born and raised in Fort Collins and grew up playing hockey. He joined the Marine Corps for five years after high school where he served with 3rd Battalion 7th Marines. After being Honorably Discharged in 2014, Alex moved back to Fort Collins where he graduated from Colorado State University. When he is not working you can find Alex exploring the outdoors, from the grasslands to the mountains.

Hillary Martin

Project Estimator

Hillary was born and raised in Ventura, California. She has been with Foothills for over 10 years and loves helping clients transform their home. She went to Colorado State for Art Education and enjoys discussing unique decor and artwork. Her passions include photography, art projects (painting/wood work/charcoal sketches/ceramics), fishing, camping, gardening, animals, traveling and enjoying quality time with friends and loved ones.

Mike Fiech

Project Estimator

Born and raised in the Midwest, Mike found his way out to Colorado in 2012 where he has been in the residential painting industry for nearly a decade. He is passionate about building authentic relationships with homeowners and ensuring their confidence in the painting process. Mike lives in Erie, CO with his wife and son where they enjoy exploring the Foothills and traveling.

Miles Vandervelden

Project Estimator

Originally from New Mexico, Miles joined the Foothills team in 2022 as a Project Estimator. Miles graduated from the University of New Mexico in 2016 with a degree in English Studies and Literature. His daily goal is to make the painting process easy, fun and creative for homeowners. Outside of work, you can find Miles lifting weights, savoring a good Scotch, and exploring Colorado.

Ben Bartholomew

Project Estimator

Ben Bartholomew is a talented Project Estimator at Foothills Painting, bringing his expertise and dedication to every project. With a love for Northern Colorado’s accessibility and beauty, Ben enjoys fitness, reading, cooking, and quality time with friends and family. Ben’s true passion lies in helping homeowners further love and enjoy their spaces through Foothills Painting’s commitment to excellence and a seamless painting process. His professionalism, compassion, and attention to detail make him an invaluable asset to the Foothills Painting team.

Chris Hall

Lead Painter

Born in Vallejo, California, Chris has called Colorado home for three years (and counting!), and joined Foothills in 2021 as Lead Painter, and loves the family dynamic of the Foothills team. When he’s not painting, Chris enjoys fishing, hiking, and cooking with his family.

Chris Hartland

Production Manager

A former Pennsylvania resident, Chris graduated from Bloomsburg University, where he earned a degree in Computer Information Systems. Chris moved to Broomfield in 2001 with his family and has called Colorado home ever since. An avid fisherman and accomplished hiker, Chris and his son hiked 100 miles of the Colorado Trail in 2021, and have plans to complete the full 500 miles!

Gordon Cobb

Production Manager

Gordon was born and raised in Kansas where he sought a degree from Kansas Wesleyan University majoring in Business Management and Leadership all while playing competitive golf for the school. When Gordon isn’t producing homes or helping clients you can find him cheering for his home team the Kansas City Chiefs, golfing and enjoying the new beautiful state of Colorado.

Jason May

Production Manager

Jason grew up in Colorado and New Mexico. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a BS in Cognitive Psychology and a BA in Business Administration, and is also a graduate of the Lloyd International Honors College with a certificate in Business Administration. In addition to project management, Jason actively writes about and teaches Filipino, Indonesian and Japanese martial arts to civilians, law enforcement and former military.

Ray Sallee

Production Manager

Ray is a Production Manager for Foothills Painting. Originally from Oklahoma, he’s a US Navy submarine veteran. Ray has 2 active kids (who have numerous pets, such as a crazy mini pony) and he enjoys spending time at the ball fields watching his kids play.

Ben Landusky

Co-Owner

Ben is a Colorado State University alumni and now lives in Arvada. He spent most of his childhood in Steamboat Springs where he found his love for the outdoors. He’s committed to creating a sustainable business that gives back to both the community and the planet. Ben is an avid Green Bay Packer fan, loves skiing and hiking, and loves the people he gets to work with here at Foothills.

Paul Schroeder

Co-Owner

Paul is Colorado State University graduate, a resident of Colorado, and one of the owners of Foothills Painting. He is a huge sports fan and lives for football season. He is a die-hard Bronco fan. When Paul isn’t busy with work, you’ll find him enjoying everything Colorado has to offer with his Wife Whitney and their three children!
