The painting process can be overwhelming for home and business owners.
With a client-centered process, Foothills Painting puts the customer FIRST in a way that builds trust, offers creative solutions, and allows for confident decisions to be made throughout your painting journey. Learn more about our residential and commercial processes below:
Residential: Putting Homeowners First
After requesting a quote from Foothills Painting, our Office Manager schedules an in-home estimate around your schedule. Precise measurements are taken, and our estimating software accurately calculates the cost of labor and materials on-site, meaning you’ll receive your estimate the same day!
With an approved estimate, clients move into the color selection process. We can source or match colors from any manufacturer and in certain locations we have professional Color Consultants available to support you in your color decision. We also utilize the Sherwin Williams digital color wall as a resource to help you with color selection. Our Office Manager works with you to select the best dates for painting of your home based around your schedule.
Preparation is key to beautiful, long-lasting results, and our professional crews at Foothills Painting are rigorous during the prep stage of painting. Surfaces are cleaned, irregularities are patched, fixtures and flooring are masked off. When painting begins, each layer is applied to follow the manufacturer’s best practices. This prevents premature peeling & cracking and ensures beautiful, long-lasting results! Once fully dry, site clean-up begins. All tape, tarps, and coverings are removed and disposed of; all furniture is re-set to the original configurations, and your re-painted home is ready to be lived in.
Your Project Manager accompanies you on a final quality check to ensure our highest quality standards are met — and that your expectations are exceeded!
Commercial
While commercial projects are often much larger in size and scope than residential work, we treat each commercial paint job with the same level of dedication and quality care.
Depending on size / scope, your Commercial Estimator measures, photographs, and makes note of any unique site-specific challenges (e.g. resident-occupied, high-traffic areas, access points, et cetera). A detailed project estimate is built, including any repairs / remediation needed prior to painting (if applicable). Your Commercial Estimate will include suggested areas for material lay-down, vehicle parking, and crew access points.
Your Account Manager works with you to determine the best dates for your paintwork. Our goal is always to minimize disruptions for our commercial clients; depending on the facility type, we will work with you to find the best scheduling solution.
All surfaces to be painted are cleaned, and any irregularities are filled in or repaired. Flooring is masked off; furniture, fixtures, appliances, and other areas are covered / taped. Any support structures or equipment needed is put in place (scaffolding, lifts, et cetera). Painting can then begin! Our commercial crew paints your commercial space following current best practices. After the final coat is dry, all support structures are broken down and removed, all masking is removed and disposed of, and your space is re-set to its original configuration.
Your Project Manager walks you through your space one final time, ensuring you are 100% satisfied with the results.
